Going to Tec Sidemount Deep Nitrox

The Going to Tec Sidemount Deep Nitrox Course is designed for divers who are ready to take the next big step into the world of advanced and technical diving. This program combines three essential specialties Sidemount Diver, Deep Specialty, and Advanced Nitrox (CSU) offering a comprehensive learning experience that builds confidence, precision, and safety under challenging underwater conditions.
Through this course, you’ll not only learn to configure and handle technical equipment, but also to plan, execute, and manage deeper dives efficiently using mixed gases. Each section of the program connects smoothly to the next, ensuring you develop both the mindset and the mastery needed for serious diving adventures.

Course Details Going to Tec Sidemount Deep Nitrox

Sidemount Training
Start by learning the Sidemount configuration, where tanks are mounted on the sides of your body for better balance, flexibility, and streamlining. During confined water sessions, you’ll practice assembling and adjusting your gear, controlling buoyancy, and switching tanks efficiently. Later, in open water dives, you’ll refine your techniques and gain confidence in handling sidemount setups in real-world conditions. This section ensures every diver achieves complete familiarity and comfort with sidemount diving techniques.

Deep Diving Specialty
Next, you’ll experience the depths up to 40 meters, reaching the limit of recreational diving. This part of the course teaches you how to descend and ascend safely while managing your gas supply and monitoring your dive computer precisely. You’ll also learn to simulate decompression procedures under supervision, building essential safety habits and awareness of nitrogen narcosis. This training gives you the confidence and control to handle deeper dives responsibly and prepares you for technical-level diving challenges.

Advanced Nitrox
The final phase of your training introduces you to Nitrox mixtures ranging from 22% to 50% oxygen, the foundation of technical diving. You’ll study the theory behind oxygen exposure, gas blending, and dive planning. In open water, you’ll apply these skills using twin sets or sidemount configurations with up to three tanks. This training includes gas switching, buoyancy control, propulsion techniques, and SMB deployment all essential skills for technical divers. By the end, you’ll understand advanced Nitrox theory and demonstrate the confidence and precision required for safe mixed-gas dives up to 40 meters.

Course Benefits
1. Gain solid experience in equipment configuration and gas management
2. Improve buoyancy, balance, and trim for smoother movement underwater
3. Master safety procedures, gas switching, and decompression techniques
4. Build the confidence to move toward technical or trimix-level diving

Upon completion, you will earn certifications that demonstrate your technical competence and readiness for deeper exploration a complete foundation for any diver aspiring to go beyond limits.
